CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

If you ask me about my study plan and the changes posibilities that i consider important to do, the first things that i think is about the theories subjects, because from my first year of study and with the realization of this first subjects i could realize that there are some deficiencies and bad implementation, i think in this is the main problem, because there is no doubt of the teachers quality, but the way of teaching that has been affected by changes (for example the firs year history subject, that used a interdisciplinar methodology, it has been not enough). Thats why, by my thoughts the firs changes is to muke strongerand change the dinamic of theoric subjects, whit the object of embraces  more know  letges in the class, and then build a complet base, leting us understand the art history and could apply them in the next years subjects and works.

In my opinion, the dinamic used in the ´´Universidad de Chile´´, where are obligatories theories subjects and practical that you can choose, is adequiate, because let each students to choose, by their own interest and abilities, different artistic pisibilities, wich one thay can link withe their proyects and future academic and professional objetives.

In grelation with the work change and the long of the career, i think that four years of study ( to catch the licenciature) is the adequate , plus it that if has been add to one more day of central workshop, but is here that i would make a change that consist  of complement this practical workshop  with a theorical class, to every speciality.

Summer Plans

In this year, as is usual, i will go to north, specifically to Caldera and Chañaral, small and little unknown towns of the region of Atacama (third region of Chile).

Since very girl, in reality since all my life, i travel in the summer months, specifically January and February to those places, because there live my grandparents and some uncles and cousin, to whom we always visit in this months because during the year we see each other  very little. I will travel whit my father, mother, sisters and my nephews, as always, but there we will meet  and we will share with much more people, with whom we make different and fun activities during it time. 

some activities I ussually do is going to the beach, playing volleyball, ride kayak, ride bicycle and almost everytime there are birthday's celebrations and we do some relative's meetings on my grandfathers house, sometimes we go to restaurant or pubs so we can listen music and share. This year we have planned going to new places we don't know but they are near to our house, at least we thought about it.

What i said is not the only thing i want to do, because on early Junuary, once i have finished this studie's semester, i have purpose to work on my jewelery's workshop, also i have thought getting out of Santiago with some friends.

My favorite piece of art

I don't have only one favorite piece of art, because I admire and I believe that there are many very interesting pieces.

But anyway, now I will talk about an architectural work, because i'm especially interested in the relation and interaction between the things and their environment.

The Hundertwasserhaus is one of the works of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, an Austrian artist and architect, this piece consists in social homes in Vienna built between the year; 1983 and 1985.  The constructions are very innovative and peculiar, characterized by the non use of straight lines, the use of many colors, different and extravagant forms.

Leaving behind any architecture traditional norm!

This piece has been catalogued by all the world as a expressionistic architecture style. It has been linked with the important catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. One important thing is that the Hundertwasser work has been influenced by the drawer;  Egon Schiele, a great artist, which one I have a huge interest on.

The other motive which why I headline this piece is because I have an interest for the architectonic works and for the care of the ambiental impact that the work could provoque in the intervened space, adapting their edifications so then do not disturb the vegetation and using natural materials and taking advantage of all of this thing that I have mention for a visual improve of the work.

Postgraduate Studies

The truth is that I haven't thought continue studying in the university or other similar institution, because in my opinion is very slow and you have to be many years in one place, which does not allow do other things that i am interest in at this moment. But obviously i want to continue learning and knowing (and not only about things related with what i am studying actually), but for the moment to finish the career i'm interested in keep perfecting me in the area of the goldsmith, in my opinion i need and i want deepen a lot more in the techniques and materials, because I believe that is a very interesting and wide area.

As i mentioned in the beginning, I don't want to study in a university again, therefore i have thought study in free workshops and also i would like to share and exchange knowledge with other persons. not only in Chile, my idea is travel, because in my opinion is a very good way to learn .

Later i would like to learn about permaculture, i'm very interested in the ecological or sustainable construction. There are many others things that I want to learn and there is not a doubt that with time there will be much more things. I hope that I could share with other people what  i have learned.
